Product Description
Ride the Streets in comfort and style with the VCAN V210. This DOT approved, full-face modular (flip up) helmet is constructed of ultra-light thermoplastic material and is aerodynamically shaped for ease of cutting through the air with less buffeting and wind noise, lessening the stress on the rider's neck muscles after a long ride. The easy-lift chin guard opening system makes 'flipping up' the face cover a cinch. In the down position, the face cover lock mechanism exceeds expectations for safety by utilizing metal pins and hooks, making it extremely resistant to opening in the event of an accident. Additional features such as the flow thru ventilation system with chin and forehead exhaust ventilation help keep you cool and comfortable, while features such as the anti-scratch, quick release visor helps keep your perspective clear. This unit even comes with a retractable sun visor. The comfortable inner lining and the cheek pads are fully removable and washable. The V210 comes a combination of 4 designs and colors in a range of 5 different sizes ranging from XS to XL to fit you and your personality perfectly.

The helmet is decent for the price. The flip up part is a little on the weak side, you can wiggle the chin after it has "latched". There is a high pitched whistle while riding, and the air gets through. I would not recommend this helmet for winter riding. The aerodynamics of the helmet work good when riding but when there is a cross wind, the fin on the back forces your head to turn. On the other hand the vents work well and the feel of the helmet is good. The built in sun screen works great and is a life saver on some trips, it covers your entire field of vision like tight fitting sun glasses. I give this helmet 4 stars due mainly to the price. I would recommend this helmet to someone that is looking at a modular but can't afford the best. As for me this helmet had the 2 things I was looking for, but for my next helmet I think I will stay away from modulars. One other thing is that the strap is very long so don't forget to snap it down before you ride. I wear a size 7 1/4" hat (23" dia) and the meduim size fits perfect, and will still be good after the foam compresses.

Purchased one of these off of Ebay, worked great for 4 months and then the bolt holding the chin bar fell out as I was putting it on. I have all of the pieces, but you have to completely dismantle the helmet to put the nut back in place and the styrofoam inner liner is permanently attached to the shell. Contacted the factory and seller and no help from either one. $230 for a helmet that will fall apart with just 4 months of regular use. Cheap chinese junk, do not buy it!!! I am just glad mine broke before I needed it for protection. Ordered a HJC modular and Chatterbox Bluetooth and am far happier with it.

For the price, this is a decent helmet. My favorite feature is the retractable sun visor, it works flawlessly and really does help riding in direct sunlight. The helmet has a high quality, gorgeous design that looks better in person than it does in pictures. The only downside to this helmet is that once I hit about 120mph, it starts vibrating a bit. Either I ordered a helmet that was a little bit too big for my head or this thing isn't as good as cutting the wind as it should be
