Stay in touch while riding the streets in style with VCAN helmets. This 2nd generation full face helmet comes fully equipped with improved Bluetooth 2.0 technology to insure compatibility with your Bluetooth enabled cell phone or iPhone. With up to 30 hours of continuous talk time and 600 hours of standby time, these helmets allow you to use your iPhone or standard cell phone, listen to music streaming from your MP3, phone, or XM radio, as well as listen to GPS directions clearly (Incoming cell calls automatically override other communications, but new call reject feature can limit interruptions). Combine two or more VCAN helmets, and enjoy communications from rider to passenger, and passenger to rider (intercom), or talk bike to bike (2-way communications within 10 meters). Other features include a noise cancelling mic, full duplex communications with DSP Filter, self adjusting volume, glove friendly and waterproof controls. Multifunction LED indicators let you know when your battery is low. When this occurs, simply use the 110 volt/220 volt charger included and you'll receive a full charge in just 6 hours. Though these helmets are hot on technology, the primary focus is safety. This DOT approved helmet is constructed of ultra light thermoplastic material and is aerodynamically shaped for ease of cutting through the air with less buffeting and wind noise, thus lessening the stress on the riders neck muscles after a long ride. The flow through ventilation system helps keep you comfortable, while the anti-scratch, quick release visor helps keep your perspective clear. The inner lining is fully removable and washable. The helmets come in 5 different sizes and 7 different designs to fit you and your personality perfectly.

I bought the helmet as I was looking for bluetooth so I can talk while riding. I am going to break up this review into 3 parts. 1. The bluetooth feature 2. The style of the helmet 3. The sound level First the bluetooth feature. The bluetooth feature works as long as you are not moving. I have a quiet motorcycle and you can't even hear the person you are talking to on the other end. Even with the volume up all the way it is too quiet. I am very disappointed in that I was looking forward to it. I have already returned the helmet waiting for refund. If you don't mind a bluetooth helmet where you can talk while standing still then the bluetooth helmet here will work for you fine. But you will not be able to ride and talk at the same time. Now let's move onto the style and appearance. I would rate the looks of the helmet a strong 5 as it is awesome looking. Now lets move onto the sound level. The sound level is too loud for a bluetooth helmet. People say you can hear the wind and this is unacceptable and it's even a blue tooth helmet. You think they would make the helmet quiet. Here is my honest review and final statement. If you don't mind a helmet that only works when stopped and not moving you will love this helmet and its perfect for that. If however you want to talk to people while riding I would not order it.That is the key. Make sure you are ok with stopping and talking to someone then it will be ok for you but when you think about it, if you can stop then why wouldn't you just use your cell phone and save the money on getting the helmet? See it doesn't make sense.

For the price, this helmet seems ok. It dosent have the liftable front face, which I have noticed is rather shakey on these models. Dosen't have the sun glasses, which I hear gets loose and drops out of the helmet at random times. Was dissapointed in the quality of the Bluetooth. I have tried others that was way nicer. You cant hear anything on the highway, not even music. The one speaker just isnt enough. You can hear it on regular streets however, and the battery will last just about all day with a full charge. The helmet if outfitted with a slot for another speaker, but the wires are hard wired in, so any tampering with the system to make it a two speaker system will void the warranty.

I bought this hoping for the best, mostly because it matched my bike. Everything is nice and secure setting up the Bluetooth isn't difficult at all just put the battery in and let it charge. I be used it for listening to the iPod while riding and sound quality is great. One thing I got a medium and it was a little smaller than I intended so if most mediums are snug on you this one might be a little bit tighter. But I got it worked in and it fits snug now. Over all great helmet
