It is a helmet.

The fact that it is a helmet is perhaps the kindest thing I can say about this item. Oh, and I got it on sale, so only regret paying 450.00 for the pair we bought.The 'owners manual" is woefully deficient. The bluetooth com never worked. Customer service never responded to my inquiries.It is a noisy helmet when closed and the face shield is closed. Quieter with the face shield open. The internal sun visor is good and the latching mechanisms are functional. The noise level inside is incredibly high - very distracting and leads to quick rider fatigue.Was able to remove the useless bluetooth systems and installed Cardo Scala Q2 systems I had removed from a previous pair of helmets.For what the Summit 3.0 turned out to be - I wish I had bought $40 dollar helmets, sunglasses and installed the Cardo systems - same result.
