Product Description
Stay in touch while riding the streets in style with the Vcan 136 B1. This 2nd Generation Full Face helmet comes fully equipped with improved Bluetooth 2.0 technology to insure compatibility with your Bluetooth enabled cell phone or iPhone. With up to 30 hours of continuous talk time and 600 hours of standby time, the V136 B1 allows you to use your iPhone or standard cell phone, listen to music streaming from your MP3, phone, or XM radio, as well as listen to GPS directions clearly (Incoming cell calls automatically override other communications, but new call reject feature can limit interruptions). Combine two or more V136 B1 helmets, and enjoy communications from rider to passenger, and passenger to rider (intercom), or talk bike to bike (2-way communications within 10 meters). Other features include a noise cancelling mic, full duplex communications with DSP Filter, Self adjusting volume, Glove friendly and waterproof controls. Multifunction LED indicators let you know when your battery is low. When this occurs, simply use the 110v/220v charger included and you'll receive a full charge in just 6 hours. Though the V136 B1 is hot on technology, the primary focus is safety. This DOT Approved helmet is constructed of ultra light thermoplastic material and is aerodynamically shaped for ease of cutting through the air with less buffeting and wind noise, thus lessening the stress on the riders neck muscles after a long ride. The flow thru ventilation system helps keep you comfortable, while the anti-scratch, quick release visor helps keep your perspective clear. The inner lining is fully removable and washable. The Black V136 B1 models come in 6 different sizes with both glossy and flat black finishes to fit you and your personality perfectly!

By Chad
Helmet looked great felt sound and sturdy overall looked to be great quality, then the problem arose. This is the blinc 136, the pictures are of the blinc 210. The 136 is a standard full face helmet with built in bluetooth. The 210 is a modular full face helmet with a opening face. Also a rule of thumb to everyone, VCAN helmets seem to be one size smaller then the normal sizes. According to the size of my tater at the local bike shop I'm a XL, Well the XL 136 was tighter than dicks headband. I had to return the 136 XL and order the 210 XXL but look forward to getting it :)

This helmet may keep your coconut from being split on the pavement (something I have not tested thankfully), otherwise, not worth the money you save by not buying a better helmet. Quality is TERRIBLE, after 7 months it is literally falling apart. Bluetooth is a cool idea but randomly drops and the helmet to helmet is no good above the speed of stopped. Battery life is no good either- the only feature of bluetooth which works somewhat consistently is the iPhone music feature. Battery only supports for about an hour on a full charge. I am returning this one after only 7 months of use and will pay a great deal more for a different brand that will hopefully work more often.

I got this helmet today from Amazon. I should start by saying I always use Amazon, I have never had a problem with the site, and I do not hold Amazon responsible for this product. That being said, the quality of this helmet was not what I was expecting. Here are my complaints: The speakers inside the helmet are very small and sound profoundly terrible with crackles and no bass at all. It is much worse than the speakers built into my Android phone (which is what I was using to connect via bluetooth with the helmet). I tried turning the volume up and down on the helmet and on my phone, but no combination enhanced the quality of the sound. My second problem with the helmet is the size. I own three other helmets, all large. This one I ordered as a large and it is beyond snug. Order a size larger if you risk buying this helmet. My third problem is he volume control. You twist the knob left or right to change the volume and do other various actions through the helmet. The knob sticks and is not smooth at all and is very "finicky". My next complaint is that the visor was all scratched up because they ship the package that contains the charger and battery (which very difficult to install in the helmet by the way) on the inside of the helmet and it scratches up the visor from the inside out. I guess my final complaint is the location of the battery and charging port. One must remove nearly all of the liner from the helmet to initially install the battery and every time it needs to be charged...Needless to say, I sent the helmet back. The idea of a helmet with the capabilities and features of this one is great, however, this helmet does not portray those features in a way of which allows one to enjoy the capabilities. This may be because it costs a fraction of other helmets because there are $600.00 helmets out there that have these same features but may have bigger and better speakers, better charging location and controls, etc. I was excited to get this helmet in, it came very quickly, and now I am very disappointed. My opinion, plug your individual ear or "bud style" headphones in and wear a normal helmet. It will costs about half the price of this helmet and you will have a much better sound and more comfortable ride.
